Should we be worried about AI & ChatGPT or Google Bard taking our jobs?

Firstly there is no doubt that AI technologies such as ChatGPT and Google Bard are here to stay and will only increase their performance and efficiency over time but not necessarily their competence, more on that in a moment.

So we all need to accept that, get comfortable with it, and start using them for our own benefit just like any other tool.

But can we all try and stay calm and relaxed. It’s a new technology and this can naturally make many of us feel unsettled and anxious.

It’s the fear of the unknown but remember the unknown, dealing with change, is what we do as agile change agents.

It’s a new disrupter in the market and history tells us you ignore a disrupter at your peril, just ask Nokia, Blockbusters or Toys R Us.

So, get to know AI, how it works and what it can and can’t do for you.

However, I do think people automatically believe the answer ChatGPT gives is correct because it presents it so confidently but the answer given is very often incorrect and in fact the question being asked is often wrong in the first place, that last point is extremely important and this video discusses that in more detail.
